"D'AULAIRE'S Book of Greek Myths" was one of my favorite books as a kid. I checked it out of the school library constantly as did my siblings before me. I've owned two hardback copies and actually have it in my digital library. Might have Gale throw one in my cardboard box when I'm cremated. I admit to perusing it in times of stress or depression. Definitely a security blanket just like T-Rex "Electric Warrior". I also want to say - "Mythos" by Stephen Fry is a fantastic read for adults, filled with insights about art, culture, language, literature, history, humor and excellent retellings of Greek mythology in dizzying detail.
