He was an alien, there can be no doubt, and he showed us the way to the alien in ourselves. A true icon, an archetype, the very embodiment of rock n roll, bombast, sophistication, a mirror reflecting all that is outrageously glamorous and also the terrifyingly sinister. Sometimes it takes an alien to show us what is beautiful about humanity. Thanks.
